So once again I find myself saying to myself any any readers of this that I’ve neglected the blog. I’d love to say that it’s because of this whole Covid-19 pandemic, and I suppose that that has played its part, but I think really a lot of it is being uninspired and not knowing really what to share on here. I’ve also been putting a lot of time into another blog project recently called Project Box Camera that I started with a friend Alex Purcell, in which 20 odd photographers shoot a roll of film through a box camera each month and we share the results. Its a surprising amount of work if im honest but I love what we’ve achieved so far.
I came to the realisation the other day, after hearing an off the cuff from Andrew Bartram when he mentioned that he’d put up a post with some images on his blog (which can be found here incidentally, and is a very good read) that this for me should be used to share and talk about stuff that I’ve been doing that doesn’t really fit anywhere else. Little series of images, or a new camera, or something like that. Makes sense really and I don’t know why I didn’t think that way before.
So that’s what I intend to do. No massive posts, just a little bit here and there about what I’ve been doing.
